His wealth of experience, creativity and commitment to film has led us to bring him on board as a producer to further develop our international production and co-production activities, with a particular focus on British and English-language films in general. At Weideman Brothers, we are all about the team, and we are delighted to have Torsten on board.”
Director Ritter said: “Working with Jonas, Jakob and the Weideman Brothers team is a dream come true. They are as incisive as they are passionate, and always see opportunity in every challenge. Across a wide range of projects, from films that dare to challenge us, move us and change the way we see the world, to films that simply put a smile on our faces. We’re looking forward to contributing our UK connections and sales perspective to helping us discover inspired talent together and working with established filmmakers, because they’re never boring and always made with conviction and soul. Ideally, they’re just the kind of films we’d never want to end up with.”
