Guy Fieri, is that you?
The Food Network star debuted her new look on social media on Thursday to celebrate her 58th birthday.
In the celebratory video, the celebrity chef traded in his signature spiky blonde hair and goatee for a neat brunette hairstyle and clean beard.
He also ditched his iconic flame-print shirt and cargo shorts for a more conservative look in a plaid button-down shirt and belted khaki pants.
“Hello! I’ve been celebrating my birthday as a guy for years, but this year I decided to celebrate it as just a guy. Happy birthday!” he said in the AI-generated video as he blew out the candles on his cake.
“New year. New man. New look,” he captioned the clip.
Many of his fans took to the comments shocked at how unrecognizable his artificial self was.
“Wow, I almost didn’t recognize him. He looks like my car salesman. Happy birthday!!” one user joked.
“Happy birthday but why do you look like Fred Flintstone!!!” another joked.
“Dad… when did you start selling insurance?😂” said Hunter, the son of a famous chef.
Hunter also posted a screenshot of the video to his Instagram Stories, writing, “Happy birthday to the mayor! Love you dad/just a man.”
The “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” star shares Hunter, 29, and Ryder, 20, with wife Lori Fieri.
While fans love Guy’s icy blonde hair, Lori confessed that she actually prefers the AI version of him.
“When I first met[Guy]he didn’t have a goatee and had dark hair. He wore a suit every day to work,” she told People magazine in 2019. “When I look at him now, I think, ‘Where did that pretty-looking man I married go?'”
Guy also told the media that she stumbled upon her signature style by accident after giving her hairstylist free rein to do “whatever” she wanted.
“When I get done working, I’m like, ‘Are you going to wash that shampoo out?'” She said, “No, it’s your hair color.” I’m like, “What!” ”
Even though Lori doesn’t approve of her husband’s appearance, she recognizes and respects that he still has an edgy look.
“I always say, ‘When are you going to change your hair?’ But it was him. I tease him sometimes, and sometimes I just want a little change,” she admitted.
“But it’s like me turning my hair black. I mean, I’m not going to do that for him.”
