The Florida-Georgia Line will be back for at least one night.
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly shocked fans Thursday night when they reunited on stage for the first time since they separated in 2022.
The jaw-dropping moment happened at Broken Bow Records’ annual late-night party during the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville.
The pair performed Jason Aldean’s 2018 No. 1 hit, “You Make It Easy,” which he co-wrote with Morgan Wallen and Jordan Schmidt. Aldean was honored at the event.
At one point on stage, Hubbard called Kelly “brother.” This suggests that after years of speculation about their relationship, their relationship may finally be on the upswing.
The Grammy-nominated pair announced plans for an indefinite hiatus in February 2022, and later announced that they would be on hiatus after their final performance in August of the same year.
Despite rumors of a rift, Hubbard recently insisted that the breakup wasn’t as dramatic as fans believed.
“The only place this has gotten bigger and more dramatic is on the internet,” he said on a December 2025 episode of the podcast “Human School.” “There’s no good or bad in this equation. There’s no right or wrong. Everybody wants to do it on the internet. They want to say, ‘Right, wrong, good, bad. Team BK, team T-Hub.'” That’s not even true. ”
Kelly said he wanted to pursue a solo career while keeping the group alive, but Hubbard was not in agreement with that.
“BK stood by his beliefs, led with his instincts, and made decisions based on passion,” Hubbard said. “I set boundaries that I didn’t want to cross, and that’s what it is. We both accepted it long before the internet accepted it.”
Still, the distance was a burden.
“I haven’t talked to BK much the last few years,” Hubbard went on to admit. “But we’re going on a hike…I miss the man who was my partner for 10 years. I miss my old roommate, the guy who was my wedding attendant.”
On March 3, Hubbard and Kelly, along with their wives Haley and Britney, reunited backstage for a family ski trip to Idaho.
“Proof that God’s timing is always better than ours,” Britney Kelly wrote on Instagram. “This week has been a week of healing, laughter, and remembering the WHY that brought us together in the first place.
“We left feeling at peace about the past and reminded that salvation is real and the future is bright.”
On Thursday night, Aldean showed up with the intention of playing a song and leaving, but was blindsided when a backdrop celebrating his milestone of 31 chart-topping hits fell to reveal more than 20 No. 1 plates.
Artists including Travis Tritt took the stage to honor Aldean, with Tritt performing “Night Train,” and other artists joined in throughout the night.
