Australian fitness influencer is undergoing brain surgery after spending several days in a hospital.
Alicia Beveridge, known to nearly 15,000 Instagram followers as “Sweat with Leash,” posted on her Instagram story on Wednesday, September 24th, giving her followers a medical update.
“I went to brain surgery this morning and I’ve been in the hospital for the past few days,” the content creator wrote. “I don’t have all the answers yet, but I’ll show up explaining them whenever I can.”
Added Beveridge: “If filming is a little too difficult for my eyes, it becomes a little more realistic and vulnerable.”

She said she is in care outside of St. Leonards, Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia. Their team added “incredible.”
Influencers had not previously shared information about potential medical conditions.
According to Beveridge’s LinkedIn, she has been working as a fitness instructor since 2011, teaching classes at various training facilities in Australia. Currently she is Barry’s founding senior instructor in Australia.

On her Instagram account, the creators share a variety of training and lifestyle content. On September 9th, in his latest post before he entered surgery, Beveridge celebrated Barry’s eighth anniversary as an instructor, saying, “The real magic was never a treadmill or dumbbell, it was an unexpected support, kindness, a connection that reached beyond these barriers.”
Last month she shared a post with a friend from her recent trip to Bali, and posted some photos from her holiday.
