The first photo of Tiger Woods at the scene of a rollover accident in Jupiter, Florida has been released.
Photos taken on Friday showed the professional golfer standing on the side of the road with his black Land Rover on its side.
The photo was taken just before he was arrested for drunk driving.
In the snap, Woods, 50, appears to be on the phone wearing a blue polo shirt and shorts. He wore his signature baseball cap on his head and sunglasses.
Skid marks left on the road and in some areas on the lawn of a residential area showed the path his car had skidded through before skidding.
The professional golfer allegedly tried to pass a general-purpose pressure washer when he collided with the “back end” of the truck’s trailer, causing the vehicle to overturn on the road, according to a news conference held Friday by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Woods was able to exit the car unharmed and was taken into custody by authorities shortly after the crash, which occurred just after 2 p.m.
The athlete reportedly refused a urine test after his arrest. However, he took a breathalyzer test that “moved multiple zeros.”
Still, authorities maintained that Woods showed “signs of significant impairment.”
He is currently being held in the Martin County Jail and is charged with DUI with criminal damage to property and refusing to submit to a legal test.
He is expected to remain in jail for eight hours after his arrest, as required by Florida law.
Sources told Page Six on Friday that Vanessa Trump, 48, who Woods had been dating since early 2025, and Vanessa’s daughter Kai were with Woods at the time of the incident. The mother-daughter duo were spotted supporting golfers during the Jupiter Links GC Tournament earlier this week.
He is believed to have been alone at the time of the accident.
