Andrew Cabot, husband of Ex-Asstronomer HR executive Kristin Cabot, says the two were already separated before catching former astronomer CEOs Andy Byron and Canoodling at a Coldplay concert in July.
Last month, Andrew, who filed for divorce, shared in a shocking new statement that he and Christine had been “separated” before the embarrassing moment between Christine and Byron.
Andrew and Kristin “were individually and friendly separated a few weeks before the Coldplay concert,” a spokesman for Andrew, CEO of Privateer Rum, told People.
“Their divorce decision was already underway before that night,” the spokesman continued. “Now that the divorce filing has been made public, Andrew hopes that this will provide a closure to speculation and enable the privacy that his family has always cherished.”
Christine has shared New Hampshire Rye with Andrew since at least 2023, according to property records obtained by the Post.
A Facebook post believed to have been created in May 2024 showed Cabot smiling as he stood with Andrew and his two young children.
Meanwhile, court documents obtained by Daily Mail show that Kristin filed a divorce petition with a court in Portmouth, New Hampshire on August 13th.
Andrew’s second ex-wife, Julia Cabott, also told the outlet that Andrew told her he and Christine were already separated before Coldplay’s kiss-cam scandal.
“I texted Andrew shortly after the (kisscam scandal) and he said, “Her life has nothing to do with me,” and they were separated,” said Julia, who was married for four years before Andrew split in 2018.
According to Julia, her ex-husband is not a “good person.”
“That’s why, after that happened, I got a lot of texts from people who have that word: karma.
“Personally, I don’t think he’s affected by what happened. I don’t think his feelings are hurt. I think he’s probably embarrassed.”
Following the Coldplay Kiss-Cam scandal, both Kristin (age 52) and Byron, 50, have resigned from his astronomer position.
After being caught up in a romantic embrace via a Jumbotron camera at a Cold Play concert in Boston, the two quickly became word of mouth due to their extreme reactions.
After realising they were on camera, Byron looked terrifying and quickly settled down.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was joking at the time.
It is later revealed that Byron married Megan Kerrigan Byron and Christine had her husband, Andrew.
Megan fled the duo’s $1.4 million home in Northborough, Massachusetts, hid in a $2.4 million main apartment while talking about the crisis about her marriage, the Daily Mail reported in July.
