Paradise, an action-packed survival thriller from Europacorp’s “Lucy” producer, held the first trailer. Directed by Layla SY and produced by Virgy Silla, the film features powerful female duo Nora Arnezeder and Maria Bello.
Inspired by a true story, “Hell in Paradise” stars Arnezeder as Arnezeder. Arnezeder has left his native Marseille and accepts his first job as a receptionist in a luxurious hotel resort on the majestic island of the Maldives, hoping for a better life. However, when tragedy falls on the hotel, Nina is driven by a spiral of lies and manipulation that is lying in. Miscribing her for life in prison, she has no choice but to run between traps and turn this paradise into hell and run away. Karine Silla (“A Butterfly Kiss”) wrote the script.
Gregoire Melin’s Kinology handles international sales with hot projects that complement the European roster of Luc Besson’s hit franchises, from “Take” to “Lucy.”
The film “is a resilience story and reminds me that even in the darkest moments you should never give up. That’s the power of the film. You’re experiencing powerful emotions,” said Sy, best known for directing Street Flow (Banlie Sards).
Silla previously told Variety when she announced her project, when she felt forced to tell this “story of empowerment” about the “story of empowerment” of “after being caught up in a net of lies, she was caught up in a culture that she didn’t know anything about, surrounded by men who viewed her as simple prey.”
Completed cast by Josephine de la Baum, Ali Khan, Shubam Saraf and Ranjit Krishnama.
“Hell in Paradise” will be released in French theatres on November 26th.
