Ariana Grande hosted Saturday Night Live again, and her best friend Elizabeth Gillies shared a photo from the night with Ethan Slater. Looks like he was there to support his girlfriend.
On December 2nd, Ariana Grande hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time. Actress Elizabeth Gillies appears to have her boyfriend Ethan Slater by her side throughout the night in the photos she shared.
The merry-go-round was dedicated to Grande and sent a warm shout out to Bowen Yang, who surprised fans by announcing that this would be his last show on the iconic comedy series. Slater, mostly photographed in the show’s dressing room and various offices, can be seen posing with other SNL stars and writers, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and brown pants.

In a later photo, Grande appears to be giving a toast while Slater holds a glass of something sparkling beside her.
“No one does it like you, Dingus,” Gillies wrote. “How wonderful to see you so effortlessly juggling your many talents and gifts. Another great episode. Not to mention the last episode of the amazing @fayedunaway. And Cher! And Christmas! I’m afraid my heart grew three sizes last night. 🎄”
Slater and Grande were also in attendance when Gillies appeared in the Broadway show Little Shop of Horrors in April of this year. Gillies shared more photos of her, the cast and the couple backstage at the time. “Thank you for coming to the store, Dingus!! 😭♥️🪴,” she wrote in the caption.
On the night of Grande’s episode, Gossip Instagram’s DeuxMoi also shared a photo purportedly of Slater heading to meet up with the Saturday Night Live team. The two met on the set of Wicked and Wicked: For Good, and Grande was cast as Galinda and Slater as Me.
