Hawk will be taking part in a Q&A about his work with Variety co-editor Ramin Setoddde. “Variety is honoured to sit with Ethan Hawk for a wide range of conversations about his career at the Miami Film Festival,” Setudded said. “Over 70 credits in films — we all have our favourite Ethan Hawk films — and a career that involves television, theater, director, and even writing novels, he is the definition of an artist who continues to reform himself.
“The Miami Film Festival’s programming director is a great opportunity to see the world,” said Lauren Cohen. From his breakout role in The Dead Poets Association to his acclaimed performances in films such as Before the Sunrise, Training Day, and Boyhood, Ethan has built one of the most dynamic and enduring careers in contemporary films.
