Inciting incident: Brooklyn and the feud between David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.

Rumors of a Beckham family feud began circulating in 2022, shortly after Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz Beckham. The family has made several public appearances in recent months, but Brooklyn has been conspicuously absent.

On December 20, 2025, followers noticed that David, Victoria, and Brooklyn no longer followed each other on Instagram, but the rest of their children still followed them. The next day, Cruz posted a screenshot of a Daily Mail article about her parents unfollowing Brooklyn on her Instagram Stories.

He denied the claims and revealed that he and his parents were unexpectedly “blocked” on the social media platform.

“Not true,” Cruz wrote, clarifying that “my mom and dad never unfollowed their son…let’s get the facts straight. They woke up blocked…and so did I.”

Their current position: On January 19, Brooklyn claimed on her Instagram that her parents were “endlessly trying to destroy” her marriage to Nicola with a series of bombshell stories.

“I don’t want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote. “I’m not being controlled. I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

It’s been more than a decade since Britney Spears was placed in a conservatorship, and the “Someday” singer has gone to court to end it. Her sister Jamie Lynn received criticism from fans who felt she wasn’t supporting Britney enough in public, but in response she shared an Instagram video explaining that she had made a “very conscious” decision to “only participate” in Britney’s life as her sister.

“Since the day she was born, I have just loved, adored and supported my sister,” she said. “So, before these bulls, this is my freak sister–I don’t care if she wants to run away to the rainforest and give birth to billions of babies in the middle of nowhere, or if she wants to come back and rule the world like she’s done so many times before…I’m her sister and I’m only concerned about her well-being.”

Britney called out her family on Instagram, specifically mentioning Jamie Lynn, writing, “I don’t like how my sister showed up to the awards show and performed my song along with the remix!!!!!” She mentioned Jamie Lynn, who performed a tribute to Britney at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

“I have been deeply hurt by this so-called guardianship system!!! This guardianship system has crushed my dreams… so all I have is hope, and hope is the only thing in this world that is so hard to kill… yet people still try!!!!”

In his book Spare, the Duke of Sussex detailed one particular row between him and his brother over Meghan, acknowledging the tensions between the two.

“He grabbed me by the collar, tore off my necklace, and pushed me to the floor. I fell onto the dog’s bowl. It cracked under my back and a piece of it bit into me. I lay there for a moment, stunned, then got up and told the dog to come out,” Harry wrote of the incident.

Their current situation: “Randy doesn’t like me talking about what’s going on with him,” Dennis told the PBD Podcast.
