Eric Stonestreet and Lindsay Schweitzer are officially married.
The pair tied the knot on September 8th, and the person in charge confirmed with people. The bride and groom fell between their birthdays, so they chose the date.
The newlyweds shared happy news in a sweet Instagram post on Tuesday, September 9th.
“It’s my birthday and I’ll guess what I got,” the 54-year-old actor captioned the wedding photo.
In the image, Stonestreet can be seen on a worn navy blazer with a blue tie. His bride wore a satin gown with crystal belt details. The couple tied the knot at their dream home in Kansas City, Missouri, and shared their first dance on acoustic guitars in front of several musicians.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, husband of Stonestreet’s modern family, said, “Of all my second marriages, this is my favorite! I love you! I’m so happy to you!!!”
Ferguson’s real-life husband, Justin Mikita, also shared her love by commenting, “Congratulations!”
Actress Octavia Spencer wrote, “Congratulations! Very happy for both of you.”
In July, Stonestreet told people that he plans to tie the knot at his Kansas City home.

“Well, we’ve said we’re building a house to host a wedding, but we’re still on track to do that,” Stonestreet said at the time. “We’ve almost finished the house, and that’s been our plan the whole time.”
He continued, “We got engaged and then suddenly we had the opportunity to build a house. We thought there was no better way to start a relationship than literally laying the foundations. That’s our plan and we’re still on track.”
The couple have been together for years and got engaged in 2021.
In August 2017, people exclusively confirmed that modern family graduates were dating pediatric nurses. The two met just a month ago while attending the Big Slick Charity weekend in Kansas City in June.
“They are so happy to see each other. They enjoy the time they spend together,” the source revealed at the time.

By September 2017, Stonestreet was ready to share his love with the world. “She calms me down – she calms my nerves. I’m a very intense person,” the actor said when he visited Ellen DeGeneres’ television show.
His revelation was a response to the host Schweitzer claims it’s good for him because he has hypochondria. “You can say, right? What are you looking at, ma’am?!” he quips at the woman sitting in the audience jokingly, “My nurse’s girlfriend will take care of you.”
Stonestreet and Schweitzer dated for over five years before popping the question. The pair got engaged in August 2021.
“We were together for a long time and knew we wouldn’t find a better partner in life than Lindsay,” the identity theft star said of the decision to propose his decision. “So it makes the most sense. And I took the time for a sweet old time. Everyone else – I say it like this – Lindsay says, ‘What are you waiting for?’ So it was time,” he told people only.

He confessed that the proposal was “not a big production,” and then added that it was “not a big production.”
Last year, Stonestreet was asked to host Domino Masters in the Fox Game Show series. The actor admitted that he had no knowledge of the topic, but fortunately, Schweitzer’s children saved the day. “I asked the Lindsay boy. Who is nine years old. ‘Do you know a lot about this world?’ And they said, ‘We’re always watching YouTube videos about this,'” he said, adding that Schweitzer has her own special skills.
“She’s just a good guy and a great mom. She can hold back on me, so I always joke that she is uniquely qualified to be my fiancé.”
