Eric Dane was photographed at LAX Airport in November 2025 in his last public appearance before his death on Thursday.
The late “Grey’s Anatomy” actor was seen operating a motorized wheelchair as he arrived at the international hub on Nov. 4.
Dane wore a white T-shirt layered with a black button-down top, gray sweatpants and matching Adidas sneakers. He tied a black scarf around his neck.
Prior to that, in late October, he was seen out for a rare family dinner with his estranged wife Rebecca Gayheart and daughter Georgia.
The father of two died on Thursday, less than a year after announcing his ALS diagnosis.
The “Euphoria” actor’s family released a statement to People magazine saying, “It is with heavy hearts that we share that Eric Dane passed away on Thursday afternoon after a courageous battle with ALS.”
“He spent his final days surrounded by his beloved friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia. They were the center of his world.”
“Eric’s journey with ALS has made him a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same battle,” the statement continued. “He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered with fondness.”
“Eric loves his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he has received. His family requests privacy as they work through this impossible time.”
The “Brilliant Minds” actor shared that he had been diagnosed with the devastating condition in April 2025, a month after calling off his divorce from Gayheart in March 2025.
“I was diagnosed with ALS,” he told People magazine at the time. “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as I navigate this next chapter.”
The actor, who shares daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14, with Gayheart, pulled out of an ALS event in January, citing health issues.
In December 2025, he said that he still wanted to act even though he was battling illness.
“I still have a brain and I can still speak,” he said during a panel discussion hosted by I Am ALS and Brilliant Minds, adding: “I’m willing to do anything.”
