Emma Watson has been wearing new diamond jewelry on certain fingers lately, fueling speculation that she may be quietly making a statement about her relationship status.
Although fans believe Watson is single, she appeared during Paris Fashion Week with a stunning diamond cluster ring on her left ring finger.
Watson, 35, sat front row at the Miu Miu show wearing a pink silk minidress and short brown suede coat, with her ring on full display.
She wore several small rings and bracelets on her right hand, as well as statement earrings with oversized chandeliers hanging from each robe.
The ring in question features a round-cut diamond in the center with a cluster of baguette-cuts fanning out from the center. 22 baguettes to be exact (see details below). It appears to be set on a yellow or rose gold shank, but if you zoom in quickly you’ll see that it’s paired with a pretty yellow gold band on the same finger. The designer of this wonderful piece has not yet been confirmed.
Just last month, Watson attended the Venice Film Festival wearing the ring in question. But at the time, she chose to wear it on her right hand, which allayed the engagement rumors.
In between his two appearances, Watson sat down with Jay Shetty on his podcast, On Purpose, for an episode titled “The Truth Behind Why I Walked Away From Fame.”
She talks about her mental health and well-being, her early successes, and her constant yearning for authenticity.
On the topic of marriage, Watson revealed that she feels there is “pressure” on women to get married, adding: “I’m so glad I’m not divorced yet. That sounds like a very negative answer… but maybe I don’t deserve it. I hope I do, but I don’t feel like I have the right to get married.”
Regarding the ring in question, Watson said, “I think it was a ceremony with friends and chosen family, or just a day of celebration, and each of them bought me this ring. It has 22 petals on it, and each of them bought one.”
The 35-year-old has been vocal about how much building a community of her peers has meant to her, leading to the sentiment, “I’ve never owned something so valuable in my life, because it represents the life I’ve built, and it represents the life I truly want. It’s made up of community, my roots, my faith and trust.”
While Watson isn’t planning on revealing her relationship status to the world anytime soon, whatever it is, she shot down those engagement rumors with one of the most poetic symbols of friendship and community we’ve ever heard.
And we are happy to celebrate that. everytime.
