On Sunday, Emma Stone hit the red carpet at the British Academy Awards in London wearing a custom black Louis Vuitton dress. This look featured a halter neckline with a large keyhole cutout that showed most of her torso. The skirt fell into the train behind her, and the heels of her strappy sandals appeared in front.
Stone wore her hair up in a soft updo and let some parts fall to frame her face. For makeup, the actress had black eyeliner and soft pink lips. She accessorized with diamond stud earrings and a matching diamond bracelet. Stone was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia.” She is also nominated for the upcoming Oscar Award for Best Actress.
Stone has won two Oscars, the first for her role in La La Land and the second for another Lanthimos film, Poor Things (2023). In a 2025 interview with Vogue ahead of the release of Bugonia, she talked about how working with the Greek director was meaningfully challenging for her.
“The harder it is, the more I like it,” she said. “If you’re not growing or you’re pushing yourself to a different place, which I think is the same for most people in almost every job, you become stagnant.”
She also talked about welcoming daughter Louise Jean with husband Dave McCurry in 2021.
“I couldn’t feel more fortunate,” she said. “She’s the greatest gift of my life, hands down.”
she continued. “Everything has been streamlined. It’s a cliché, but everything changes. And everything becomes simpler…I certainly think it unlocks a lot of things. I don’t know specifically about it, but I feel everything I can feel, because everything just exploded.”
