Emma Roberts had the “best time” as she enjoyed a special fall outing with her son.
The American Horror Story actress, 34, shared a series of photos from a recent trip to Universal Orlando with her son Rose, 4. In the photo, the mother-son pair seemed to enjoy rides and a merry-go-round. Roberts also shared an adorable image of her toddler sitting on her leg, gazing lovingly at her.
“To say we had the best time is an understatement 🧡🎃 Thank you @universalorlando #universalorlandoresort🌎🌟,” she captioned a photo of the merry-go-round.
In July, the proud mother shared another photo with her young son on her Instagram Stories. Roberts appeared to be enjoying the little moment with her son, as she was seen sitting on a bench with him, wearing sunglasses and a white sweater tied around her neck.
The proud mother smiled next to her son Rose, who looked exactly like her, smiling in a yellow AC/DC T-shirt. “My best friend,” Roberts wrote above the photo.
In February, the Scream Queens actress shared a photo on Instagram of her son enjoying an outing at an arcade, captioning it simply, “Best friends🩵.”

Roberts welcomed son Rose with ex Garrett Hedlund on December 27, 2020. PEOPLE confirmed that Roberts and Hedlund went their separate ways in January 2022, shortly after celebrating Rose’s first birthday. In July 2024, Roberts got engaged to her partner of two years, Cody John.
The mother-of-one previously opened up about her relationship with her son on iHeartPodcast’s Table for Two with Bruce Boz, saying she is happy to be able to support him on her own.
“I’ve worked so long that I’ve been able to support myself and help others, and as for my son, I know it’s very freeing and a great privilege to know that I can always support him on my own,” Roberts said. “Some people just can’t do that. I always want to let people know they can try.”
While Roberts is happy to be able to support her son, she said she feels “mom guilt” when she goes to work.
“I feel so much mom guilt. I’m away from my son, working 12 hours a day, and yet on the weekends I’m so tired and I feel like I’m not being my best self,” she said. “But on the flip side of that, I know that (he) will always be able to support him because he always knows that his mom works really hard and loves what she does.”
