John Krasinski and Emily Blunt made stylish hits on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival to celebrate the highly anticipated premiere of Blunt’s latest film, The Smashing Machine.
Blunt, 42, wore low-rise, leaning forward pinstripe black pants. Her top was more complicated with a bandeau with triangles cut out in the center of her chest. The bandeau had lace mesh fabric and a second triangular cutout showing her abs.
She wore her brown hair in loose waves, and her charm included nude lips sheen and naked naked eyeshadow with a nude blush.
The 45-year-old office alum wore a dark gray Glen plaid suit with an adjustable vest, a black tie and black patent leather loafers.

Blunt took a break from filming Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City to attend the premiere. The actress, who changed the role of Emily Charlton, was seen on set in both her character’s signature red rock and the impressive platinum blonde.
I’ve seen Anne Hathaway (Andy Sachs), Meryl Streep (Miranda Priest), and Stanley Tucci (Nigel) also filming the sequels again in town.

The couple’s red carpet date night marks their first major appearance in almost a year, but was just filmed at the US Open this weekend. The couple last appeared in September 2024 at Albys, hosted by the Clooney Foundation’s Justice Foundation, founded in 2016 by George and Amal Clooney.
On that star-studded night, Blunt wore a white strapless Tamara Ralph gown featuring sequin fringes at the hemline. She decorated the look with silver rodo clutches, diamond earrings and a bracelet.
Krasinski wore a tailored suit consisting of black blazer, trousers and black and white button-downs. He completed the look with a black bow tie and an IWC watch.

On the Smashing Machine, Blunt was starring alongside Dwayne Johnson. In an August interview with Vanity Fair, Johnson opened about starring as Mark Carr in the biopic drama. Specifically, one of the dull things of his real-life “best friend” was important when accessing the “vulnerabilities” needed to portray an actual UFC legend. Blunt plays Kerr’s ex-wife, Dawnstaples.
“If Emily and I weren’t close friends, we wouldn’t have been able to go to the places we went,” Johnson, 53, said in an interview. “That intimacy created trust, which enabled vulnerability, which allowed us to go anywhere (we) anywhere.”

Brandt had only kind words to say to her Jungle Cruise co-stars. She told Variety: “It seemed like an easy immersion. It was creepy, like a total disappearance. From day one, he was somewhere else.”
She added:
The Smashing Machine will open on October 3rd.
