Fifteen years after working on Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” actor Elliot Page has spoken about reuniting with the Oscar-winning director for the historical blockbuster “The Odyssey,” which is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2026.
“I was very happy to be considered for the role[in “The Odyssey”]and asked to work with me again,” Page said during the “X-Men: Days of Future Past” panel at this year’s New York City Comic-Con. “I loved working with him on ‘Inception,’ and I loved being a part of that movie. I was completely thrilled and excited. And[I]basically went to see Chris and talked about the role, and then we sat in a room and read the script. I was so happy to be back.”
“Coming back here, as you can imagine, the more comfortable you are with yourself the more you enjoy these kinds of projects,” Page added. “It meant a lot to me selfishly to be able to experience Chris Nolan’s work again.”
The “X-MEN: Days of Future Past” panel was moderated by “Happy Sad Confused” podcast host Josh Horowitz. The film also stars James McAvoy, who played Charles Xavier from 2011 to 2019. When asked about the possibility of rebooting the series with popular actors such as Colman Domingo and Bella Ramsey, McAvoy expressed his excitement to return to the world of Charles Xavier with a new ensemble cast.
“Look, I’m (just) looking forward to seeing what happens next,” McAvoy said. “I was a fan before I was an employee and always will be. Colman Domingo is amazing.”
