Elle Fanning wore a Fendi Couture dress to the premiere of Sentimental Value in Los Angeles. The actress paired her lace dress with Cartier jewelry and minimalist glamour. The new drama also stars Renate Rijnsve and Stellan Skarsgård.
There’s a reason Elle Fanning has become the modern-day red carpet muse, and her recent appearance at the premiere of Sentimental Value in Los Angeles was no exception. The actress walked the carpet in a haute couture dress by Fendi, arriving wearing a delicately sheer nude lace and tulle design from the Italian fashion house. The dress had blush pink accents.
The sleeveless gown features a contoured bodice and delicate straps, with layered lace panels creating a tiered silhouette along the skirt. Her stylist Samantha McMillen said the dress incorporated “Karl lace” and was likely a reference to the late Karl Lagerfeld’s storied tenure at Fendi, where he was creative director for more than 50 years. The look takes inspiration from the brand’s Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection, which reimagines the archive textures and materials from Fendi’s 100-year history.
Fanning completed her ensemble with diamond jewelry from Cartier, the French luxury brand of which she is a brand ambassador. Her hair was styled into a sleek low bun by Jenda Alcorn, and makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe chose a minimal, glowing look that complemented the gown’s soft hues.
The premiere also reunited Fanning with her Sentimental Value co-stars Renate Reinsve and Stellan Skarsgård.
The film, directed by Norwegian filmmaker Joachim Trier, is scheduled to be released in theaters on Friday.
