“Is everyone okay in prison?” asked Sabrina Carpenter about recent victims Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning.
The sisters were the latest in a series of A-lister “arrests” Carpenter has made during his “Short and Sweet” tour.
Last night in Los Angeles, the singer handed two pairs of pink fluffy handcuffs from the stage to a pair of blonde, slip-dressed people in the audience, accusing them of being “too hot.”
“One is cute, but two is better!” Carpenter sang, reworking the lyrics of her song “Juno” for the nightly interactive spectacle.
Dakota, 31, and Elle, 27, have been coordinating their looks long before they were red carpet staples or sitting front row at fashion shows.
At the concert, Elle wore a blue lace dress and Dakota wore a pink lace lingerie-style slip dress and dark boots.
The sisters were all smiles and eagerly participating in the hilarious routine, as seen on the Jumbotron inside Crypto.com Arena and in photos shared on Instagram Stories.
Other stars arrested at Carpenter’s concerts include Millie Bobby Brown, Gigi Hadid, Anne Hathaway and Nicole Kidman.
The Los Angeles show marks the end of the Short and Sweet tour, which concludes on November 23rd after 72 shows (including six completely sold-out dates in Los Angeles).
Carpenter next? We’ll be promoting her new album, Man’s Best Friend, and hopefully getting more opportunities to wear sparkly dresses from the Bob Mackie archives.
And what about Elle and Dakota Fanning?
The two are currently working on several projects, including co-starring in the film adaptation of “The Nightingale,” which is scheduled to be released in 2027.
Until then, look forward to seeing these ultra-stylish Hollywood sisters on the red carpet — awards season is right around the corner — and hope they can find a way out of Carpenter’s fluffy pink handcuffs by then.
