Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson surprised fans with his new slim-down build at the Venice Film Festival.
The professional wrestler traveled to the Water City to promote his new film, The Smashing Machine.
On Saturday, Johnson shook a light blue collared shirt and black dress pants, smiling as the event of Mew Mew’s women’s tale looked even more lean.
Fans used X to discuss the obvious weight loss of “Moana” voice actors.
“The rock has been transformed into pebbles…” one user removed.
“It looks like AI to me,” another insisted.
“I hope he’s not sick because he looks very thin,” the third netizen wrote.
“This isn’t him or recently. Six or seven months ago he was doing a raw jack, and he didn’t lose much muscle that quickly.
Page 6 contacted Johnson’s representatives for comment but did not immediately respond.
“Black Adam” star, 53, recently revealed that he chose to transform for his new role.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Johnson said about his role in the Benny Safdy biopic at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend, “This transformation was something I really starved.”
“I had a career I had over the years and I was very fortunate to be able to make the films I made, but there was just a voice within me.
Additionally, in June, Johnson revealed that for years, he had struggled with gut-related health issues.
“He said, ‘What’s going on?’ “I can’t fix it completely.
“I feel good – that’s weird – but I can’t break it.”
Johnson began treating health illnesses in early 2024. The actor has a full plate of previous commitments, including the WWE gig, the release of “Red One” and “Moana 2” and filming “Smashing Machine.”
