Meghan Markle paid tribute to her daughter Lilibet on International Women’s Day with a stunning photo taken by her father, Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex celebrated the global day to celebrate women’s achievements and draw attention to women’s rights and gender equality by posting a photo of four-year-old Lilibet cuddling on the beach.
In the photo, Markle, wearing a long cover-up with a blue collar and a baseball cap, hugs her daughter, who is dressed in pink.
On a picturesque day, they are sitting on a rock, looking out at the sea.
Markle credited a photo of her husband, calling him “Papa Sussex.”
The As Ever founder captioned the photo: “To this woman, one day she will be…Happy International Women’s Day.”
Markle has hidden her face in public photos for years, but last month she shared a photo of Lilibet’s face on Valentine’s Day. In the cute photo, Prince Harry was seen wearing a ballet outfit and holding his daughter holding a red balloon.
Markle captioned the photo: “These two + Archie = my forever Valentine,” referring to the couple’s 6-year-old son Archie.
Markle, 44, recently dealt a blow to As Ever after Netflix cut ties with the polarizing lifestyle brand.
“Since her show wasn’t going to continue, it didn’t make sense to continue the partnership,” an industry source exclusively told Page Six, referring to Markle’s two-season drama series “With Love, Meghan.”
A Netflix spokesperson told Page Six in a statement: “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful and simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand. We are thrilled to play a role in bringing that vision to life.”
“As always intended, Meghan will continue to grow her brand and move on to the next chapter of her independence. We look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to homes around the world,” the statement continued.
A source close to the matter also said it was always the plan for As Ever to be “self-sufficient” and that Netflix and Meghan will continue to have a mutually supportive relationship, adding: “You can expect to see a seasonal special of ‘With Love, Meghan.'”
