Duchess Meghan also joined the 2016 trend with a photo from 10 years ago.
She combined it with a video taken by her daughter Lilibet in 2026.
In both films, she and her husband Prince Harry share romantic moments.
On Friday, Meghan Markle jumped on the 2016 photo-sharing trend by posting a photo of herself and Prince Harry from 10 years ago. In the photo, she and Prince Harry are seen standing in the water in casual attire and sharing a sweet hug. Behind it is a gorgeous moor backdrop.
She paired that image with a current video that she says is of her daughter Lilibet. The black-and-white clip shows the couple dancing together on the lawn, swaying and sharing a kiss. In the caption, the Duchess of Sussex wrote: “When 2026 feels like 2016… you had to be there. 🎥 Creed: Our daughter.”
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry married in 2018, two years after the romantic photo was taken. The two met in July 2016, so the picture may have been from the early days of their relationship.
In November 2025, Meghan spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about how Prince Harry has supported her through the years as the couple has gone through changes.
“He loves me so boldly and with all his might. He also sees different media than I do, so he has a different perspective,” she said. “I know he will always support me because there is no one in the world who loves me more than him.”
She said she was first drawn to his “childlike wonder and playfulness,” adding, “I was so drawn to that and he brought that out in me. It’s reflected in every part of our lives. Even in business, we want people to play and have fun and explore and be creative.”
The duchess also spoke about Lilibet and her son Archie, saying that their children are “always learning new things”.
“I see them every day facing things that feel completely insurmountable, but I can remember and say, ‘I know it’s really hard right now, but believe me, it’s going to come easily soon,'” she added. I hope they understand the value of being courageous. ”
