Duchess Kate returned on Easter Sunday after a two-year break. She wore a self-portrait tailored midi dress. The Princess of Wales was joined by Prince William and his three children George, Charlotte and Louis.
On Sunday, Duchess Kate made a spectacular return to the annual Easter service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. She was accompanied by her family, including her husband Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The last time Duchess Kate attended an Easter service was in 2023. In 2024, she had just announced her cancer diagnosis and was scheduled to undergo chemotherapy prior to the ceremony. In 2024, the Princess of Wales was in remission, but she and her family were in their rural home in Norfolk.
For her return this year, Kate wore a self-portrait oatmeal tailored crepe lace detail midi dress, according to fashion Instagram account @katemiddletonstyled. She carried several matching accessories, including a Juliet Millinary oak leaf teardrop hat, a Deep Toffee Smooth Nano Montreal Demerier handbag, and tan Ralph Lauren pumps. She wore Queen Elizabeth’s Bahraini pearl earrings in her ears.
Princess Charlotte wore a custom-made Catherine Walker coat that coordinated with her mother’s ensemble over a blue pleated chiffon dress, also from Self Portrait. On her feet were Tory Burch black ballet flats.
Louis and George were wearing slightly darker navy suits than William, with pale blue ties. William’s tie was a bright plaid blue.
In March 2026, royal photographer Chris Jackson gave an interview with Page Six about his thoughts on watching the royal children grow up.
“I don’t see them very often, but when I do, it’s so fun to watch them grow,” Jackson shared. “I think they understand that being in this situation is not normal.”
He added of the children, “It’s lovely to see them interacting together. It’s been really special to photograph them over the years.”
