Meryl Osmond, 72, wrote on Facebook that he immediately drove to the hospital when he learned of Wayne’s stroke to say goodbye.
“I never knew anyone who had humility. An absolute innocent man. An individual who had the ability to forgive immediately and demonstrate unconditional love to everyone he met,” Meryl wrote.
Wayne, along with his older brothers Alan and younger brothers Meril and Jay, got off to a musical song in the barbershop quartet.
In 1961, the Osmond brothers were discovered while singing at Disneyland and became regulars on the Andy Williams Show. Brothers Donnie and Jimmy, as well as sister Marie, eventually joined the group.
