Donna Kelse wished her son, Travis Kelse a happy 36th birthday with a sweet nod to the athlete’s fiance, Taylor Swift.
The 72-year-old reposted a photo-filled tribute to Travis from his and Jason Kels’ “New Heights” podcast account on Sunday using Instagram stories.
Donna has added Swift’s “Opalite” track to her social media uploads.
The song was featured as the third track on Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” record released on Friday, and is a Travis favorite.
In her Friday interview with the UK capital FM radio station, Swift, 35, revealed that the song was inspired by her romance with the NFL star.
“Opals are artificial like diamonds, and Travis’ birthstone is opal,” she shared. “I was always stuck with it. (And) I always loved the stone.
“I thought it was a bit of a cool phor… happiness can also be artificial,” continued the Grammy winner. “That’s the purpose of the song. It’s the juxtaposition of these two.”
Fans are also convinced that the tight end has become “real” on the line about “on her phone” and “on her phone” by throwing a jab at Stovis’ ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.
Additionally, Swift touched on her romance with Kelce in “Wish List,” “Honey,” “Tree” – Her Most Unchanging – “The Fate of Ophelia.”
She gushed out about the latter in another radio interview Friday.
“This song has some of my favorite moments,” Swift said at the Magic Station in the UK, referring specifically to the “Post Hook Section.”
“When we wrote it, I was like, ‘Yes! This is why I do music,'” she recalled. “This is a song about the feeling that you may have encountered a similar fate to Ophelia, who was crazy over the years, by love.”
Swift had headlined relationships with Matty Healy, Joe Alwyn, Jake Gyllenhaal and other stars before meeting Travis.
The “Catching Kels” alum got engaged in August after a two-year date.
When she appeared on Friday during her Graham Norton Show, Swift spurted out her partner’s fairytale garden suggestions.
She said the three-time Super Bowl winner “smashed it down” and gave his suggestion “10 out of 10.”
