Kimberly Guilfoyle has broken her silence about her ex-fiancé Donald Trump Jr.’s engagement to Bettina Anderson.
Almost a month after the 48-year-old popped the question, Ms. Guilfoyle told The New York Times that she was “happy for Don.”
In an interview published Sunday, the U.S. ambassador to Greece stressed, “Of course we wish him the best.”
Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. dated from 2018 to 2024, and the former couple got engaged in 2020.
Page Six reported in December 2024 that the two had parted ways.
“Don and Kimberly haven’t been on good terms for the past year,” a source told Us at the time. “They get into arguments in front of people at Mar-a-Lago. It’s not weird, but you know when couples are fighting. They fight in public.”
By the time news of their split broke, Trump Jr. had broken up with Anderson.
It was heard that he and the 39-year-old socialite had been together for “a few months” before their romance hit the headlines.
“[They]are so cute and happy together,” a source gushed, calling the duo a “natural fit.”
Trump Jr. took a knee the following December while celebrating Anderson’s birthday at Camp David.
After Page Six exclusively reported the engagement news, President Trump praised the couple’s “young love” at a White House Christmas party.
“They are very close and they just announced through me that they are getting married,” the 79-year-old told guests at a gala last month.
The bride-to-be was overjoyed and said she felt “the luckiest girl in the world” at the celebration.
Notably, Trump Jr. is married to ex-wife Vanessa Trump, with whom he has five children.
The two split in 2018 after more than a decade of marriage, and Trump Jr. continued dating Guilfoyle later that year.
Guilfoyle has been on the road before, marrying California Governor Gavin Newsom in 2001, but they divorced in 2006.
This is Anderson’s first marriage for the socialite.
