Dolly Parton turned 80 this year, but you’d never know it.
This week, the country music icon released her third collaboration with Good American (aptly called “Dolly’s Jolenes,” a play on Parton’s 1973 hit “Jolene”), along with a slew of new campaign photos featuring the octogenarian legend baring her belly button.
In several shots, Parton poses in a cropped butterfly top ($158) from the latest collection, embroidered good-waisted palazzo jeans ($198), and a slim-fit denim shirt ($158) styled unbuttoned as a jacket.
In other images, Parton models standout styles from her line, including a lace-up poplin tank ($148) and a bandana-inspired tailored poplin shirt ($168).
“You have to wear what you feel comfortable in. That’s what I think of as true style,” she said in a video promoting her new release.
“I’m old enough to have seen everything come and go…and I’ve worn a lot of clothes,” she continued. “You have to have some denim. Otherwise, denim won’t match.”
Parton’s own website states, “With this new Dries Jolians collection, we’ve tapped into a little bit of my past and breathed new life into it for today. When someone wears this, I want them to feel bold, beautiful, and completely themselves.”
The beloved singer has recently been dealing with some health issues, which forced him to postpone his stay in Las Vegas. She also missed her 80th birthday celebration at the Grand Ole Opry in January.
At the time, Parton revealed, “As many of you know, I have been suffering from some health issues and my doctor has told me that I will need some surgeries,” she said at the time, joking that it was not a “routine plastic surgeon’s appointment.”
