Doechii is making a big move!
On Friday, September 5th, the 27-year-old Grammy Award winner posted a series of hilarious Instagram stories subtly announcing that she had purchased a new home. Doechii (real name Jaylah Ji’mya Hickmon) refused to reveal the city where she bought her new home. She was originally from Tampa, Florida, but moved to Los Angeles in 2019.
Her Instagram story began with her asking her who she followed.

The next seven slides included a video of a rapper screaming out various variations of “Get Out.”
In each post, she added a poll asking her followers what she thinks about her various “performances.” Some of the options she offered include “need more passion”, “eager”, “courage”, “urgent, but not accurate”, “lost me”, “much better, but I think you can do very good”, “Stop posting these.”

The rapper shared several videos in her own home, but she was placed in the kitchen and featured various parts of it.
The video gives a glimpse into her teal tile backsplash, open shelves for pots and pans, and a contemporary finish.
The rapper’s recent purchase follows her “transformative” years and has grown to fame.
In February, she won’t heal her first Grammy Awards at the 67th Grammy Awards. The following month, she won the 36th GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Music Artist.
At the event, she told people that recent years were “transformative.”
“Really. Everything in my dreams come true and I feel literally walking through my dreams,” she said. When people asked what she would say to Dokii five years ago, she replied, “I’ll go on and say I’m a star. You’re fine. Keep going.”
