Shortly before the release of Netflix’s Stranger Things 4: Volume 1, Doja reportedly in a now-deleted tweet, “Joseph Quinn will fine him as shit.”
Later, after the release of the second volume, fans wrote to X, “Doja sees how great Joseph Quinn is,” and she replied, “It’s F-Cking Criminal.”
Quinn liked the first post, and the official Netflix Instagram account shared the screenshot.
July 2022
In July 2022, Noah Schnapp revealed to Tiktok that Doja had debated him about his co-stars and shared a private message from Instagram.
In the message, Doja asked Schnapp, “Noah can tell Joseph to hmu. Wait. Does he have GF?”
Schnapp replied, “lmaoo slips into him (DMS).”
She replied, “Idk who doesn’t have a DM to slide his IG or Twitter.”
Schnapp then gave Quinn’s Instagram handle. She obviously didn’t expect Schnapp to share their conversation publicly, so she ended up blowing up his actions during a live Instagram stream.
“The fact that Noah did that was posted in a private conversation between me and him. “It’s borderline snake shit, it’s weasel shit, and I’m not saying it encapsulates his whole personality.”
She continued. “Maybe he’s like a snake, but I didn’t see him that way. I assumed he was going to chill him about it.
Schnapp was 17 years old at the time. During the live stream, Doja has admitted this, “To be fair, let’s chill out about it first. Noah like a child…” They have both since apologised to each other.
August 2024
On August 18, Deuxmoi shared a video of Quinn and Doja walking through London, with Quinn wrapping his arm around his shoulder and holding his hand behind his back. Another photo was said to have been shown together at Camden. And the third photo seemed to show them having a drink at a London pub and enjoying animated conversations.
September 2024
On September 21st, Doja performed at the iheartradio Music Festival in Las Vegas. One moment on the show she stopped to flash a big ring to the ring finger of her left hand, then laughed playfully and turned away from the audience. Naturally, gestures and jewelry sparked engagement rumours.
She sang as she made the gesture.
The next morning she wrote a tweet and read, “No, I’m not engaged in the David Yerman ring, which has no rock in it.”
February 2025
A photo shared by Gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi on February 18th can be seen at a Mexican airport and appears to be traveling together. In some photos, Quinn puts his arms around the music artist, and in others it appears that he is carrying their bags. The singer wore a short beige dress under a long black coat, while Quinn wore black pants and a brown windbreaker.
March 2025
On March 18th, gossip blog Deuxmoi shared the story of the pair, which is seen in London, especially at Dingwalls in Camden.
Quinn’s film Warfare premiered in Los Angeles in late March, and Doja was seen leaving the afterparty at the Sunset Towers Hotel that night. She wore a long gold gown under what looked like an actor’s suit jacket.
July 2025
In late July, Sun reported that Quinn was seen on a date with model Amelia Zerbe at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
“Joseph and Amelia were really reserved and when they left they made sure they went separately,” the witness said. “He went ahead and got into the car before Amelia joined him. They looked like they were on a date, but no one was keen to notice them.”
The sighting of the eyes sparked rumors that Doja with his rumoured romance had ended quietly.
September 2025
In her New York Times profile, released on September 5th, Dojacat worked on her and Quinn’s speculation for the first time. She hadn’t fully confirmed the relationship, but she teased a bit about her positive love life. Speaking about her new album Vie, she said she wanted to “embodied” the French romance “in a kind of tongue-like way”, and the lyrics say it explores “not just her own sexuality, but her.”
“As a daughter of a single mother who cares for two children, romance is something I think is a lesson in my life because it wasn’t really there,” the singer added.
Doja didn’t specify whether Quinn is her partner or not, but she said she “just enjoys it” and “makes things happen.” She added that both of her love men and “bullying men.”
