Derek Hough is now a dad!
The Dancing with the Stars judge and his wife Hayley Erbert have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
“December 29, 2025,” the couple captioned a black-and-white photo of their infant’s feet on Instagram on Monday. “Everly Capri Huff🤍”
The dancers continued, “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have opened wide and our world has changed forever.”
The two colleagues showered the newborn with congratulatory comments.
“Congratulations 😭🫶🏻 So big congratulations to you both!!!” Lindsay Arnold wrote along with Whitney Carson, “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and!
Erbert, 31, debuted her baby bump over the summer.
“I can’t believe that the biggest thing that happens to us is so small ♥️,” the couple wrote alongside footage of their maternity shoot in July 2025.
News of their pregnancy comes nearly two years after Erbert and Hough, 40, walked down the aisle.
The two married in August 2023 in Carmel, California.
Four months later, Elbert was hospitalized with a cranial hematoma and underwent emergency brain surgery.
The “DWTS” troupe dancer celebrated the 2nd anniversary of his health scare on Instagram in December 2025, and reflected on the “miracle” of “creating life” two years after “fighting for life.”
“I am so grateful for everything and incredibly proud of myself and my body for everything I have endured,” Erbert wrote.
She and Hough met in 2014 when Erbert was hired on the Move Live Tour with her now-husband’s sister, Julianne Hough.
The two began dating the following year, and Derek popped the question in 2022.
