Denise Richards has accused her estranged husband Aaron Phypers of using her daughter to solicit money from “strangers”, calling it “outrageous”.
“Say whatever you want about me, that’s what they think. We’ll deal with that after the divorce,” Richards responded on Thursday’s episode of Tori Spelling’s podcast, “MisSpelling.”
“But to cross the line and try to extort money from a stranger for my youngest daughter is outrageous,” she said, adding, “It’s wrong.”
Richards was referring to his 14-year-old daughter Eloise, whom he adopted in 2011. When the model married Phypers in 2018, Richards raised Eloise as his own and has been embroiled in a custody battle since filing for divorce from Richards in July 2025.
Last week, Aaron’s mother, Patricia Phypers, launched a fundraiser after a Los Angeles court ruled in favor of the landlord of the $3.3 million home she once shared with Richards, 54.
“Please help my son Aaron,” Patricia wrote on the page, calling herself “a grandmother pleading for a girl torn from justice and life.”
“My son, Aaron Phypers, was destroyed by false allegations, the power of Hollywood, and a system that sought to silence him,” she continued. “But the deepest hurt is the loss of his daughter, my granddaughter Eloise.”
Patricia claimed Eloise was “taken away” from Aaron, 53, “overnight”.
“She was our light. She loved her daddy,” Patricia said of the child, claiming that Richards used up her pension when she needed help.
“Now my son, who has supported this family, is isolated, vilified, starved, unjustly arrested and left with nothing,” she claimed. “He has no income. He has no home. He has no ability to fight back. And he has no access to his daughter, who needs him.”
Patricia, who shares Aaron with Stephen Phypers, said she has “no choice” as she faces eviction.
“If you ever loved your children or grandchildren, please help your son fight for the truth and for Heloise,” she begged. “Your support may be the only thing that can save him.”
As of Jan. 8, the fundraiser had raised $60 in donations, but last week the fundraiser page listed $1,308.
Last month, Richards and Aaron were evicted from their Calabasas, California mansion for failing to pay $84,000 in rent.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum was not living at home amid the divorce turmoil. The two were married for six years until Aaron filed court papers to end their marriage this summer.
In November 2025, Richards accused Aaron of abuse throughout their marriage and was granted a permanent restraining order against him. Aaron denies the charges.
He hit back at his ex by filing papers for an emergency hearing in his spousal support case, claiming he needed access to their funds because he was at risk of homelessness.
“Unless a hearing is held, I am literally at risk of becoming homeless without a car or a cell phone.
“We can move forward to an earlier date and by entering orders we will have access to large amounts of funds that[Richards]controls,” he claimed at the time.
The “Wild Things” actress didn’t delve further into the drama on Thursday’s podcast, explaining, “I want to get over the actual divorce, so I’ll share then.”
But she admitted last week that 2025 was “one of the most painful years of[her]life.”
Richards also has daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, whom she was married to from 2002 to 2006.
