Dennis Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers has been ordered to pay $160,000 in a default judgment to a California man he accused of fraud.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Rupert Perry to pay the reality star on March 16 after he failed to respond to her lawsuit in court, according to court documents viewed by Page Six.
A representative for Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Perry made several attempts last year to contact Phypers, 53, to inform him of the pending lawsuit.
According to Us Weekly, in 2025, the widow placed several ads in the Malibu Times on June 19, June 26, July 3, and July 10 informing her that she was being sued in Los Angeles Superior Court and had 30 days to respond to the lawsuit.
However, at the time, Phypers was embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with his estranged wife, Denise Richards.
The former lovers are reportedly still fighting in court. In the latest update, Ms. Richards was ordered to pay her ex-husband $5,000 a month, plus $30,000 in attorney fees for the divorce process.
He also currently faces criminal charges of two felony counts of injuring a spouse and two felony counts of coercion or intimidation of a witness.
Perry first filed suit against the Phypers in November 2024, alleging breach of oral contract and fraud by false promises over payments to the now-defunct Quantum 360 Club wellness center he shared with his late wife, Elina Cazioura-Beal.
According to legal documents, Perry claimed he paid Phypers $126,000 for stem cell treatment in June 2023 in the hope that it would help cure Katsioura Beal, who was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer in 2019.
Perry alleges that Phypers told the couple that her condition would be “cured or at least improved” and that he was “so confident in the treatment” that he promised to “refund Kazioura-Beale and Perry 50 percent of the cost of the treatment if it didn’t work.”
He received treatment from July to September 2023. However, by December, she learned that the treatment was not working and that her tumor had grown by 25 percent within three months of finishing treatment.
Kazioura-Beale then allegedly contacted Phypers to inform him of the results and asked for a 50% refund of $63,000. However, Ms Perry claims her requests were ignored on two separate occasions.
In March 2024, Mr. Perry claimed that after being contacted by a third party, Mr. Phypers agreed to refund Mr. Cazioura-Beale’s money.
Katsioura Beale sent her final bill for payment on March 29, “because she was dying from cancer.” However, her request was again ignored. She passed away on May 21, 2024.
On June 28, 2024, “Mr. Perry spoke by telephone with the defendant, in which the defendant acknowledged the debt but offered a series of excuses for not being able to pay the $63,000,” the document states.
