“Danny Go!” is going to Netflix.
Five episodes of the popular children’s show will hit the streamer on April 6, including songs like “Ka-Pow! Superhero Dance” and adventure games like “Escape from Tiger Island.”
According to Netflix, “Aimed at kids ages 3 to 7, this educational show combines original songs, silly dance moves, and real-life exploration to help kids burn off some energy while learning with interactive games.”
Daniel Coleman, who stars as the title character, launched “Danny Go!” In 2019, he joined his wife Mindy and childhood best friends Michael Finster and Matthew Padgett. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the show centers around music, movement, and silliness. The channel has amassed 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube, and its videos have garnered nearly 5 billion lifetime views.
Danny Go! The brand also embarked on a national tour, playing 65 sold-out shows across the United States, and launched a toy line. On March 31st, the staff will release their first picture book, “Danny Go’s Volcano Adventure.” Another book, Silly Spooky Party, will be released on July 14th, and another title, Sharks in the Water, is scheduled for release in summer 2027.
“Danny Go!” marks Netflix’s latest move to bring popular children’s content to the platform. The streamer has previously collaborated with children’s content sensation Rachel, Mark Rober, Salish, Jordan Matter and Alan Chicken Chow. Its children’s and family programming also includes the long-running show “Sesame Street,” the interactive program “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” the British cartoon “Peppa Pig,” the career-themed “Blippi’s Job Show,” the Oscar-winning “KPop Demon Hunters” and the Adam Sandler comedy “Leo.”
