“Dancing with the Stars” fans are sure Daniel Fishel rejected fellow contestant Whitney Leavitt in the final seconds of Tuesday’s “Tiktok Night” episode.
After Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui and her professional partner Brandon Armstrong, the celebrities and dancers of Season 34 all gathered around the stage to console the dance duo.
Everyone else seemed shocked and sad, but Leavitt was smiling and jumping for joy.
The 32-year-old “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” star showed a joyous look on her face when she tried to get Fischel’s attention.
But the 44-year-old alum of “Boy Meets World” quickly drove her away. Leavitt’s happy expression urged him to make a dramatic transition to look horrifying.
Viewers flocked to social media and looked at the troublesome interactions captured by ABC cameras.
“Everyone who is mad at Lauren and Brandon is trying to celebrate their progress with Daniel,” one wrote in X.
“Daniel Fishel will put Whitney Leavitt in her place after he tries to celebrate Whitney’s already week,” the second social media user said.
“You can’t get over Daniel’s upset after a brief conversation with Whitney. She’s like reading the girl in the room!” another wrote.
“I love Daniel SM. I can say she’s upset and above Whitney,” someone else tweeted.
The ballroom was filled with a calm atmosphere after fan favourites Jauregui and Armstrong were voted Tuesday night.
The fifth harmony alum told viewers he was “offended” and brought a cheeky one-word reply when asked how she felt she was being eliminated.
It was a particularly tough night for Jauregui to get his boots. It was a particularly tough night considering she and Armstrong performed on Fifth Harmony’s 2017 hit, “Work of Home.”
Jauregui’s 5H bandmates who humiliated her injuries – Normani, Dina Jane and Allybrook – were in the ballroom to cheer her on that night. Shawn Bankhead, who choreographed the movements of the original dance of Girl Group, Tune’s official music video, also appeared to show Jauregui’s support directly.
Despite not moving forward to faceoff next week, Jauregui expressed his gratitude for taking part in the show with Dance Pro.
“It’s such a special place, so (I’m) mad about it,” Jauregui said.
While Jauregui is in canned, Fishel and her dance partner Pasha Pashkov are scheduled to compete in the “Disney Night” segment next week.
Meanwhile, Leavitt will move on to the next round with his partner Mark Ballas.
