“Dancing with the Stars” set up its first official podcast. The podcast, hosted by season 33 winner Joey Graziaday, will premiere on September 18th, two days after the season 34 premiere of the competition series.
In each episode, Graziadei interviews the “Dancing with the Stars” cast and other special guests, providing behind the scenes insights and performance breakdowns. Produced by BBC Studios, this podcast is available in Disney+ and Hulu videos. New episodes will be dropped on Thursday.
“Dancing with the Stars Official Podcast” is part of the bigger video podcast push at Disney, which began earlier this month with the “Only Murder in a Building” companion show. Other Disney shows that are expected to release podcasts include Paradise, The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife, Murdo: The Death of a Family, Percy Jackson and the Olympics, and Lie.
Graziadei appeared in season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” after appearing in two seasons of the “Bachelor” franchise. He was first a season 20 contestant for “The Bachelorette” and finished as Charity Lawson’s runner-up before leading the season 28 of “The Bachelor.” The season ended with his proposal to Kelsey Anderson, whom he is still engaged. In “Dancing with the Stars,” he partnered with Jenna Johnson to help him in the Ren Goodman Millerball Trophy Championship in November 2024.
“It’s no longer exciting and honoured to be able to join the ‘Stars with the Stars’ team in this new way, bringing exclusive interviews with viewers and behind the scenes content,” Graziadei said in a statement. “I have so many great memories from when I was competing (and won didn’t hurt), so I can’t think of a better way to connect with contestants and bring deeper conversations and fun moments to the podcast space.”
