Dakota Mortensen has accused ex Taylor Frankie Paul of scratching and punching her after she pulled out of filming “Mormon Wives” over an alleged domestic violence incident in February.
According to a Feb. 23 Draper, Utah, police report obtained by Page Six, a friend of Mortensen’s told police that the reality star was the victim of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend.
Mortensen then told police there were “two incidents of physical assault, including grabbing, scratching, shoving, and punching,” the report said.
The report also notes that Mortensen was “uneasy” about reporting the incident due to her ex-boyfriend’s “high profile” and that police obtained photos of Mortensen’s “scratches on her neck.”
Mortensen and Paul dated on and off from 2022 to 2024 and share a 2-year-old son, Ever. However, they have been involved in multiple domestic violence incidents.
Following SLOMW’s abrupt halt to filming earlier this month, Paul’s season of The Bachelorette was also canceled after TMZ released a video of the altercation in 2023.
In the disturbing footage, Paul can be seen throwing a metal chair at Mortensen, while his 8-year-old daughter Indi, then 5, can be heard crying nearby.
Paul was arrested in the 2023 incident and charged with three felonies, one count of aggravated assault and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, and one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief.
She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and other charges were dismissed under a plea deal that reduced the charge to a misdemeanor if she complied with three years of probation.
The ex-girlfriends are also involved in a third domestic violence case that West Jordan police are investigating.
“The West Jordan Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen,” a department spokesperson told Page Six last week.
“This allegation was reported in late February 2026, and detectives examined a video believed to have been recorded in early to mid-2024.”
