Dakota Johnson continued the pure trend at Valentino’s haute couture show in Paris.

Johnson recently spoke to Vogue Germany about her decision to regularly wear sheer dresses, and explained why she doesn’t care if people think her look is “too sexy.”
Dakota Johnson brought the sheer trend into winter with tiny lace shorts at the Valentino haute couture show in Paris today. The actress paired the transparent black bottoms with a tan cat ribbon blouse, bronze jacket, sheer embroidered tights and studded heels.
Johnson regularly wears sheer looks, including gowns. In October, she told German Vogue that she didn’t care if her clothes were “too sexy.”
She explained, “I don’t really care. I can wear some of the most beautiful dresses and I wear them because I feel beautiful in them. Sometimes they look good on me. But then there are the dresses I try on and they don’t suit me at all. It depends on the shape, the finish, the color, everything. So if I find a beautiful dress that is comfortable, of course I want to wear it! And I enjoy wearing sexy dresses.”
She added that her mother, actress Melanie Griffith, taught her to be confident in her body. “My mother was very open about the topic of bodies,” she said. “She taught us how to take care of our bodies, how to love them, and that our bodies are beautiful.”
That lesson, she continued, “is really important for young girls to[learn]because we’re constantly being told that we’re not good enough.” “And if the woman you admire the most tells you from a young age that you’re perfect and smart and special and strong and brave, it can really break your heart. It’s hard to re-teach yourself that love later on. That was a huge gift she gave me.”
