On September 11th in New York City, Johnson attended the Kaeling Foundation’s fourth annual women’s dinner. For the event, she wore a light black Gucci tulle gown decorated with floral black patterns. Underneath, she wore a black bra and matching panties. Johnson accessorized the Kate Young styled look with a diamond necklace and black bamboo heel sandals.
Last month, Johnson came out with another bold look at the Splitville premiere in Los Angeles, where he wore a metallic leather Gucci dress.
Splitsville, who is currently in the theater, is a comedy that follows a couple who get caught up in an open marriage of their friend. Adria Arjona, Nicholas Braun and OT Fagbenle have also appeared in the film.
Johnson spoke in detail about Splitville’s unique tone at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. “I think it reads as a comedy,” she told Deadline. “It’s individually about the challenging dynamics of two couples and their relationships, and their relationships are intertwined with each other. It’s about the complexity of love.”
She continued. “It’s not a love triangle, it’s like an experiment of love. It’s charming, codependent, incest, and in the end it’s really deeply affectionate, but a lot of the time is pretty messed up.”
