Vogue World took over the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The magazine’s extravagant fashion show (officially titled Vogue World: Hollywood 2025) featured designer looks inspired by some of Hollywood’s most famous costume designers.

McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Alaïa, Marc Jacobs, Valentino and Balmain teamed up with costume designers Colleen Atwood, Milena Canonero, Ruth E. Carter, Katherine Martin, Arianne Phillips, Sandy Powell, Jacqueline West and Shirley Kurata for a star-studded runway show.

The fashion show was a pseudo-movie shoot directed by Baz Luhrmann, and Nicole Kidman opened the show by taking over the runway in a sophisticated black dress.

Other celebrity models include Ayo Edebiri, Greta Lee, Jeff Goldblum, Sombre, Julia Garner, Jeremy Pope, Tiliq Withers, and more. The 30-minute show concluded with Angela Bassett reprising her role as Queen Ramonda from the Black Panther series, wearing one of the gowns she wore in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

“It was just too beautiful in an instant,” Hilary Duff told me after the show. “I couldn’t help but have so much fun. I was embarrassed to take so many photos and videos. It was gorgeous, bright, and fun. I was like, ‘I want to stand there and walk around!'”

Gracie Abrams and Doja Cat performed with a guest list that included Miley Cyrus, Cynthia Erivo, Hailey Bieber, Tracee Ellis Ross, Lizzo, Henry Golding, MGK, Demi Lovato, Kathryn Hahn, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Olivia Munn, Camila Cabello, and Jennifer. Hudson, Camila Mendes, Chloe Fineman, Mandy Moore, Juliette Lewis.

Benito Skinner and Rachel Sennott were so excited they almost bounced off the walls of the famous studio after the show. “It was shocking. I loved it. I was there with Gracie Abrams,” Skinner said. “It was wonderful.”

Sennott said she was “surprised” to see Edebiri walking during the show. “I screamed, but I was afraid to scream and cause a distraction,” she said. “Then I started yelling at each person. I thought, ‘If I have to be quiet, someone is going to tell me.'”
