Dak Prescott is doing his best after his dramatic split from ex-fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos, according to his coach.
Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer spoke to reporters on Monday and was asked about staying connected with his players, especially Prescott, during the offseason.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Schottenheimer said he had “a lot of conversations” with the quarterback and mentioned parting ways with Ramos.
“Obviously he’s in a very good position, but what he’s facing is incredibly tough,” Schottenheimer said. “But if anyone can handle it, so can he.”
TMZ reports that Ramos called off his wedding to Prescott after an argument broke out during a joint Bachelor and Bachelorette party in the Bahamas. The wedding was scheduled to take place just a month ago in Lake Como, Italy.
Page Six then exclusively revealed that Ramos called off the wedding after accusing Prescott of an “ongoing affair issue.”
People familiar with the matter said Ramos believed Prescott had a history of contacting other women during their relationship, but insisted she stayed with Prescott in hopes that he would clean up his act for the sake of his family.
Our sources claimed that while Ramos and Prescott were still in the Bahamas after the joint Bachelorette and Bachelorette party, they learned that Ramos was allegedly using a secret social media profile to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-girlfriends.
She then reportedly confronted Prescott and made the decision to call off the wedding.
They went on to send out a joint email to hundreds of wedding guests announcing the news without giving a reason.
Prescott and Ramos, both 32, have two daughters, Margaret Jane Rose, 2, and 10-month-old Aurora Lane.
Ramos seems to be doing well even after the group disbanded.
She recently resurfaced on social media, posting a happy selfie with her daughters on her Instagram story.
