Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson aims to bring Fox Nation viewers behind the crime scene.
Actors, rappers and producers will be holding “50 Ways to Catch a Killer,” a new six-part documentary series from Fox Nation, a streaming service along Fox News Media. Each episode takes viewers into the process of how investigative crime teams solve real-life murder mystery. The series debuts on September 16th, with two new episodes scheduled to be announced weekly until the end of the month.
“We’re committed to providing a range of services to our customers,” said Jason Klarman, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Fox News Media. “His cultural influence and storytelling talent provide him with front row seating in dog research that leads to justice.”
This series will be added to the true crime content available on Fox Nation. It also serves as the home of the long-term reboot of the reality series “Cops.”
Each episode highlights special tactics, insights, or evidence that leads investigators to arrest or conviction. The cases, including the stories of Connecticut detectives, include stories about trying to resolve murders committed as part of a family break-in, or about Maryland investigators trying to find a teacher who went missing on the first day of school, ending Jackson with each program in an update on the defendant.
“True crime is powerful because it is the real case, the real people, and the real justice,” Jackson said in a statement. “In this series, we want viewers to experience the strength of these investigations and the relentless work they need to uncover the truth. We bring these stories back to life in both charming and authenticity.”
The new series is Curtis’ latest among other projects, including Starts’ “Power” and many of its spinoffs. “50 Ways” was produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television and G-Unit Film & Television Inc. Executive producers include Jackson alongside Mike Nichols, Leigh Purinton, Anthony Wilson and Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.
