Cully Barker and Cooper Tomlinson, creators of the micro-budget slasher film Milk & Cereal, are set to release their latest comedy project, Fly Me to the Earth, on their That’s a Bad Idea YouTube channel.
Barker’s horror film “Obsession” was sold to Focus Features in October for $14 million after debuting at the Toronto Film Festival. He came to Hollywood’s attention after his $800, 62-minute horror film, Milk & Cereal, garnered 2.1 million views.
Co-produced by Barker and Tomlinson, and directed and co-written by Chris Reinacher, “Fly Me to the Earth” aims to be “a world of high comedy,” according to the filmmakers, and stars Patrick Warburton ( The cast includes comedy talent including Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect), Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite) and Ryan O’Flanagan (American). The Silver Sail Entertainment production follows “a group of friends who believe the ultimate reboot of life lies far beyond the stratosphere,” according to the synopsis. “Determined to leave their everyday lives behind, they scrape together everything they have to buy a one-way ticket to life on the moon, only for their big space dreams to hilariously collide with the complex problems of Earth.”

“Fly Me to the Earth” will be released exclusively on the That’s a Bad Idea YouTube channel on Fridays at 4pm PT.
