Cruz Beckham appears to be taking a thin jab at his eldest brother Brooklyn Beckham in a new song titled “Loneliest Boy.”
The 21-year-old singer is currently touring the UK, performing unreleased songs. Fans are convinced the dark lyrics are about Brooklyn, as the Beckham family feud has been very public.
Cruise sings about a lonely boy “breaking” his mother’s heart.
Lyrics include “The loneliest boy, mama don’t talk much/It’s hurting her heart/It shows in the little things you don’t do.”
“I guess at the end of the day, it’s you, yourself, and you / How do you live when you have no one to lose?”
A source told Mirror UK in January that Cruise and Brooklyn’s mother Victoria Beckham are “absolutely heartbroken” over Brooklyn’s estrangement from his family.
Even more poignant, the lyrics of “Loneliest Boy” include: “Loneliest boy, I bet it all on him / That’s what he always does to find the bad in good people.”
“Loneliest boy, I hope you listen/Stop pushing all your friends away when we try to show you love.”
This isn’t the first time Cruz, 27, has taken a shot at Brooklyn.
Last week, he shared a cooking video of himself making bacon and potato soup on TikTok, which fans took to criticize Brooklyn, which produces food content and launched its own brand of hot sauce called Cloud23.
Cruise captioned the video: “Want to watch the best cooking video of all time? 👌Then don’t watch it.”
Brooklyn has been locked in a bitter feud with his family since at least 2022, when he married his wife Nicola Peltz.
The feud escalated further in January when he released a bombshell statement on social media saying he did not want to reconcile with his famous parents, Victoria and David Beckham, and accusing them of trying to ruin his relationship with Peltz.
“For the first time in my life, I am standing up for myself. My parents have always controlled the media coverage of our family,” he wrote.
“I recently saw with my own eyes how much trouble they go to to maintain their facade and feed countless lies to the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people,” he continued.
The Beckham family has since extended an olive branch to Brooklyn via social media, but the former photographer doesn’t appear to have changed his stance.
On Mother’s Day in the UK on Sunday, he praised Peltz’s mother, Claudia Peltz, as “the best mother-in-law”, but completely ignored Victoria and completely ignored her.
“Happy Birthday to the best mother-in-law,” she posted on Instagram with a photo of Nicola and Claudia, but Claudia’s birthday was actually three days earlier, on March 12th. “I love you so much and I hope you have the most amazing day.”
