Cruz Beckham said he wants to mend his broken relationship with older sibling Brooklyn Beckham while speaking to TMZ in Paris, France on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old singer celebrated the birthday of the media personality, who turned 27 on the same day, in front of the cameras in 2022, four years after rumors of family rift began.
However, Cruise is currently touring with his band, Cruise Beckham & the Breakers, and dodged questions about whether the two had spoken recently.
The artist thanked reporters before crossing the street with girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
Cruise and Brooklyn’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, acknowledged Brooklyn’s special day on social media on Wednesday despite a no-contact order from their estranged son.
“Today is the 27th 🥹 Happy Birthday Mr. Bust 🤍. We love you,” the athlete wrote on her Instagram Story under a photo of herself, the fashion designer, and Brooklyn in the pool.
The Spice Girls member, 51, reposted the same shot on her Instagram Story, writing: “Happy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ❤️.”
David, 50, also posted a black and white photo of himself with Brooklyn as a child, while Victoria added an image of her playing with her firstborn to her Stories.
Brooklyn spent the day with his wife Nicola Peltz, with the model showing off gold balloons, flowers, presents and a box of pink donuts that read “Happy Birthday, Brooklyn” on Instagram.
“Wow, that’s amazing,” he exclaimed, staring at his snack.
“I have to make a wish,” Nicola answered.
“Happy birthday, I love you,” she added. “I hope your wish comes true.”
“Oh, this is so sweet,” Brooklyn said.
The British star’s birthday comes two months after she allegedly asked her parents to contact her only through her lawyer.
At the time, the Daily Mail reported that the aspiring chef also said he didn’t want David or Victoria to talk about him publicly on social media.
“David was asked to speak to them through[law firm]Schillings,” a source told the publication. “It was the only way for them to communicate.”
Beckham’s family drama took a turn in January when Brooklyn posted a series of scathing posts on her Instagram Story saying she didn’t want to reconcile with her family, including Cruise, brother Romeo, 23, and sister Harper, 14.
He claimed Victoria and David had tried to ruin his marriage to Nicola.
The couple married in 2022, but Brooklyn claimed her mother “hijacked” her and the Bates Motel actress’ first dance and “cancelled at the 11th hour” from making Nicola’s dress.
Although David and Victoria have not publicly addressed the allegations, the Brooklyn siblings have publicly sought to make amends.
In February, Cruise posted a throwback shot with his siblings.
And on Valentine’s Day, Harper posted a shot of herself and her three siblings and wrote, “I love you all more than words can express.”
But despite the sibling’s kindness online, Brooklyn previously covered up a tattoo that paid tribute to the Beckham brothers.
The “Cooking with Brooklyn” star once had the names Romeo, Cruise, and Harper etched on her finger. But in January, observant fans noticed that the ink was no longer visible.
Instead, Brooklyn flaunts a cloudy black and white design on the spot.
Despite having more than 70 tattoos in honor of Nicola, 31, the British entrepreneur also made no secret of his respect for his parents.
Brooklyn replaced the word “DAD” on the anchor on his right arm with a starfish and a life preserver. Currently, she is covering up her “mother’s penis” on her chest with a floral pattern.
Brooklyn also appears to have covered up the “Mum” tattoo on her shoulder with flower and dragon artwork.
