James Marsden will host a special reunion episode of “Jury Duty Presents: Company Camp,” where he will interview the cast of the social experiment series and its unwitting hero, Anthony Norman.
The episode, which will be released on April 10, will also include never-before-seen footage from the Amazon show.
In addition, another bonus episode titled “The Meeting”, where Norman meets Season 1 subject Ronald Gladden at a coffee shop in Los Angeles, will also launch on the same day. They discuss the strange experience of being the only non-actors involved in a “Truman Show”-style experiment, and how “jury duty” and “corporate retirement” have affected their lives.
The streamer will also release recorded audio commentaries for all eight episodes of “Company Retreat,” featuring insights from Norman, Alex Bonifer, Stephanie Hodge, Rachel Cayley, Emily Pendergast and Marc-Sally Saint-Fleur.
“Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” is a mockumentary series that follows the staff of a hot sauce brand as they travel to the company’s off-site locations. The catch is that everyone except Norman is an actor. Norman is a temporary employee who has only been working at the company for three days.
Marsden starred in the first season of “Jury Duty,” in which a civilian was placed on a segregated jury filled with actors as well. The “X-Men” and “Paradise” actor played a cornered version of himself. He served as an executive producer for season 2.
The cast of “Company Retreat” includes Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hawk, Jim A. Woods, Lanisa Renee Frederick, Saint Fleur, Kaylee, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Brown.
The show is created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky and directed by Jake Szymanski.
