Corey Feldman feels quirky after the exit “dancing with the stars.”
Sources close to the ’80s star say the accusations that he was lazy in rehearsals were unfair. If anything, he was thrown by headlines about his horrifying feud with Charlie Sheen, who emerged in the Shaw era.
The insider says the “Stand by Me” star is “substantially defeated” after being launched after the second episode, but says it’s not his short-term that he defeated him.
“What’s most upsetting is the story he didn’t show up, and he and his partner Jenna (Johnson) didn’t get along,” a source close to the “Goony” actor said. “Coley showed up every day and took off his ass.”
Former “DWTS” Pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is also Johnson’s stepbrother, recently criticized Feldman.
“Jenna climbs a little with Corey, which everyone can easily say from the outside, but I know she’s having a much more difficult time with all of this,” he told the Daily Mail.
When asked if he thought the actor’s age (age 54) was a factor, Chemekovsky said, “I think it’s a combination (of technique and work ethic). Maybe (the learning choreography) isn’t that kind of comfort zone for him.”
Meanwhile, another source told the outlet: “The (producer) chose a few stars — and I use that term roughly — just don’t want to do the job.
However, our sources argue that there is no maliciousness between Feldman and Johnson.
“He has made a great friendship with Jenna!” says the insider. “He looks forward to seeing her son and staying in touch.”
Known for destroying Michael Jackson-inspired moves, Feldman is said to have fallen out of his game as he was distracted by the news surrounding Charlie Sheen, who has a new documentary.
Feldman previously claimed that Sheen had raped his best friend, the late actor Corey Heim.
Sheen denied allegations for his new Netflix Doc, “aka Charlie Sheen,” saying, “it’s an absolute f*cking Bullsh*t. I should have taken legal action against Feldman, but I didn’t want to give that clown much content.”
However, we hear that Feldman has put aside his complaints about the show.
“Coley joined the People Magazine Party with his castmates from “DWTS” while sitting on the fact that Charlie Sheen is currently on the cover of the magazine,” the source said.
But behind the scenes of the show, we hear “Coley saw the support from fellow castmates like Alix Earle and Elaine Hendrix and examined the bond he created was very realistic.”
