Corey Feldman claimed that he and his “dancing with the stars” partner Jenna Johnson didn’t get along well.
Feldman tackled “negativeness” in comments on Johnson’s Instagram post on Wednesday after being removed from the competition.
After thanking 31-year-old Dancing Pro for sharing his “hard work” and “life lessons and memories” with her, the “Stand by Me” star responded, thanking Johnson.
“I’m sorry for the negativity the media is using to give us a false narrative that it’s not fun to spend time together,” he wrote.
“And just like I do, I know I’ve been there seven days a week for the past three weeks. Even if the judge doesn’t see it, I’m doing it all with my strength, with my strength,” he continued. “God bless your family. Keep dancing your dreams.
After learning his fate on Wednesday’s show, Feldman aired Johnson that “better.”
“Jenna is amazing. I really enjoyed her,” he said. “I feel really bad because she deserves to be talking personally.”
Johnson’s brother-in-law, “DWTS” alumnus Maksim Chmerkovskiy, said ahead of the abolition, Johnson was having a “difficult” time working with Feldman.
“Obviously, Jenna has a slightly more difficult climb with Corey, which everyone can easily say from the outside, but I know she’s having a much more difficult time with all of this.
When asked if Feldman’s age was a factor, Chemerkovsky replied, “I think it’s a combination (of technique and work ethic). Maybe (the learning choreography) isn’t that kind of comfort zone for him.”
However, a source close to the ’80s star told Page 6 that accusations that he was lazy in rehearsals were unfair, and that Feldman felt “substantially defeated” after being booted after the second episode.
“What’s most upsetting is the story he didn’t show up and he and his partner Jenna (Johnson) didn’t get along,” a source nearby the actor told us. “Coley showed up every day and took off his ass.”
Sources said Feldman was distracted by recent news surrounding Charlie Sheen and his new Netflix doc, “aka Charlie Sheen.”
Feldman previously claimed that Sheen had raped his best friend, the late actor Corey Heim.
“I should have taken legal action against Feldman, but I didn’t want to give that clown that much content,” Sheen said.
