“Heated Rivalry” co-stars Connor Story and Hudson Williams reunited on “Saturday Night Live” on February 28th. In the sketch, which was filmed outside the Rockefeller Center rink, Story played a man attending a bachelor party, ice skating and having fun with friends.
Meanwhile, a couple (Tommy Brennan and Veronica Slokowska) discuss their relationship, he proposes, she says no, and they get into a fight. But I couldn’t help but notice that the group – Story, Mikey Day and Ben Marshall – were having fun.
About halfway through the sketch, Hudson came out skating on the ice to an excited Story. “Sorry I’m late, but I have a serious question. Who read Skate?” he asked.
The group then went skating on a four-person train, which Williams said was the most fun she’s ever had. At the end of the sketch, Brennan jumps into the rink and ditches her now ex-girlfriend to celebrate with men she doesn’t know.

A short time later, Williams reappeared on SNL, introducing Mumford & Sons with a story line.
The duo is best known for playing hockey duo Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander on the popular series produced by Crave. This hockey drama is based on the “Game Changers” book series by Rachel Reid.
“Now, some of you may have seen literally everything about me on my show. This show taught a lot of people about hockey and taught a lot of straight women that their sexuality is actually gay,” Storey said at the beginning of the show. He then created the Olympic women’s hockey team and the men’s hockey team.
“My tooth fell out in the finals. Does that happen on your show?” Jack Hughes asked Story, to which Story cheekily replied, “Metaphorically.”
“Heat Rivalry,” which aired on HBO Max, was a huge hit for the streamer in its first season. The second season will begin production in August, with a release date set for April 2027.
