Colin Farrell admitted that it was turned on by Margot Robbie’s personality.
The actor explained that he personally didn’t know Robbie until he began collaborating in “Late Night with Seth Myers” and began working with the new film, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.”
“You hear things for years. You know yourself, so it’s a pretty small industry,” he told host Seth Myers on Tuesday night.
“So I met people over the years I worked with Margot… and they all said men and women how extraordinary she is.”
In addition to being an “incredible actress”, the “Penguin” actor has heard through Hollywood’s Grapevine that she is “kind”, “fun”, “one on the team”.
“She’s,” he confirms, “This is always a turn-on for me… straight!”
Blushing, Robbie tells him “stop” before joking that he was owed him “after $20” for making sweet comments on television.
When they met, Farrell, 49, further replied that Robbie’s magnetic personality was “really obvious.”
“It was really easy,” he said of working together.
On her part, the “Barbie” actress pointed out that she had heard rave reviews about Farrell before they connected with their projects.
“Everyone talks about what a great guy he is. Obviously, I know he’s talented and is all of that,” she said.
The 35-year-old continued to share that two of her closest girlfriends are crew in one of Pharrell’s films.
“They said too, ‘He’s the sacred man on the planet,'” Robbie revealed.
Farrell’s comments show that Robbie will be celebrating her 10th wedding anniversary with Tom Ackerley in December. The pair welcomed their first child, the boy last year.
Meanwhile, Pharrell has never been married. However, he shares his 22-year-old son James with his ex-girlfriend Kim Boldenben and son Henry, and at 15, he shares his ex-girlfriend Aricha Bakreda Cal.
“A Bold and Beautiful Journey” will be held at the theatre on Friday.
