Ciara is a big hit this Halloween!
Music legend Michael Jackson’s mother stepped out for the holidays wearing one of his most iconic looks. On Saturday, Nov. 1, she unveiled the outfit on Instagram, posting a series of photos of herself in the gold costume Jackson wore in the video for his 1992 hit “Remember the Time,” which was set in ancient Egypt.
The look sees her striking a series of fierce poses and features a shimmering top with gold and ruby accents, a statement belt, and black pants. She paired the look with black boots.
Ciara also wore a wig to perfectly emulate the pop icon.
“Do you remember that time? :),” she wrote.
She also shared a video of herself dancing in costume, captioning it, “Remember that time? You thought I forgot to dress up for Halloween 🎃.”

Ciara, her husband Russell Wilson, and their kids have been getting into Halloween fun for years.
In 2024, she and her 8-year-old daughter Sienna had a sweet moment while dressing up as her famous mother on her Out of This World tour.
“When I asked SiSi who she wanted to be for Halloween, she said me!” Ciara wrote on Instagram, sporting an all-red look and an oversized crown. “Words cannot express how much this means to me.”
She continued, “My baby girl went on tour with me and by the end she had every detail locked in!” she continued in the caption. “Lil Sissi as Big Sissi. My sweet Sienna Princess Wilson🥰🖤🎤”
In 2023, Ciara, who was pregnant at the time, wore two equally iconic outfits separately. First, she posted herself posing as a Velvet Rope-era Janet Jackson, specifically the R&B superstar for the “Together Again” video. To further emphasize her love for the artist, she captioned an Instagram photo with the song’s lyrics, adding, “I can see your stars shining on me.”
She also dressed up as “The Female Weezy” and earned Lil Wayne’s endorsement.

A year ago, Ciara and Sienna became twins again, this time co-starring as Venus and Serena Williams in the famous Gotmilk ad. The star captioned the photo, “Do you have milk? The best ever. 🐐🐐,” in which the pair are seen wearing black outfits, beaded braids and, of course, milk mustaches.
In 2022, Ciara paid homage to another music star, Selena Quintanilla, with a jumpsuit reminiscent of the look she famously wore when she last took the stage at the Houston Astrodome’s Livestock Show and Rodeo in February 1995. Regarding the decision, Ciara wrote, “I’ve been practicing learning Spanish and having the best time of my life. So I wanted one of my outfits to reflect the LatinX culture. It was so much fun!”

In 2020, son Future Zahir also joined in on the Halloween fun. Ciara dressed up as Cardi B (who looks almost identical to her album Invasion of Privacy), while Future dressed up as her estranged husband Offset. Similar to 2023, subjects noted, “I feel nauseous! I love it! I’m so excited!” The “WAP” rapper wrote on Instagram at the time that he had reposted a video of Ciara and her son.
A year ago, Ciara asked her husband to introduce her to another power couple: Beyoncé and Jay-Z. They’re wearing almost exactly what the duo wore in their “Apes—” music video. She kept her Instagram caption simple and let her looks speak for themselves, adding, “Jay & Bey.”
